Low thigh balance

T straddles above the supine B, who grasps T’s upper thighs (picture 1). T leans forward from the ankles and extends the arms to the sides and somewhat to the rear. B pushes T off the ground into the balance, and T draws the legs together (picture 2).

Notice that T is standing erect with a well arched back. Unless the center of gravity is brought to a point behind T, the immediate tendency is for T to topple forward as soon as the feet leave the floor. The pose shown is actually a very stable one, and B should not find it necessary to grasp T’s thighs tightly at all.
